Much has been written about firewalls, and how they can protect your computer from the dangers of the Internet. However, it has been proven that these security tools aren't necessarily hackerproof and can be penetrated under certain circumstances.
LeakTest is a cleverly written program designed to test your firewall's vulnerabilities. You may be surprised with what you find.
When put to work, the program attempts to bypass firewall protection and gain unrestricted access between your PC and the Net. It establishes a standard TCP connection to the developer's server, and subsequently verifies and then terminates the connection.
No data is actually sent from your computer during the test, but the program highlights key firewall filtering weaknesses. Though firewalls are supposed to block suspicious connections, it often allows your browser, instant messenger and other Internet programs to work. Malicious files, such as viruses and trojan horses, can simply rename themselves to fool unsuspecting firewalls.
This small program requires no installation, and can be run with a click. After the test, it indicates if your firewall has been penetrated. You can optionally browse through "explanation" pages on the author's Web site.
Overall, LeakTest is a stunning reminder that hackers remain ahead of today's "hottest" home security programs.

Egal welchen Browser sie auch benutzen, mit dem Link-Explorer lassen sich alle Favoriten verwalten. Sie können auch ohne Probleme ihren Standartbrowser jederzeit wechseln. Bequem die Verknüpfungen vom Desktop per Drag&Drop in den Link-Explorer schieben um sie zu archivieren, oder direkt aus der Browserleiste. Falls vorhanden, werden auch Favicons angezeigt. Die Links werden alle im Programmverzeichnis gespeichert. Keine Installation nötig!

Overview:
Mhttp is a freeware server that allows anyone with a static IP address the
ability to run their own web services. It is designed for complete simplicity --
requiring only few minutes to begin using.
Install:
1.Download Mini http server mhttp.zip(165kb)
2.Create a new path in C or others, like c:\\satweb
3.Unzip mhttp.zip into new path. It includes:
.. CGI-SHL -- CGI Path
.. Webdocs -- User's html file path
.....Index.htm -- default www root file, replace it by yours
.....Mhttp.exe -- Http Server program
.....Mhttp.htm -- Help file
. Configuration:
The properties of server is save in default.hsc. Usually It do not need to
change or modify. But If you did not fill in TCP/IP properties of your windows
correctly, you have to configure it again. You should let DNS enable, let
Host(H)=YourIP, Domain(O)=" ".
How to Start:
1.Run mhttp.exe
2.Run a browser, such netscape, and type in:
http://127.0.0.1 or http://YourIP
If return:
Congratulations, you have successfully installed minihttp server.
If all that is OK, replace index.htm with your root homepage and put others
homepages in path Webdocs. Now you have a web server for yourself and
anyone can visit you from http://YourIP.
