Mit der integrierten Suche findet der Anwender schneller bevorzugte Sendungen aus tausenden deutschen und internationalen Podcasts und spart sich den umständlichen und zeitaufwändigen Besuch von Portalen im Internet. Zusätzlich bietet Podspider die Möglichkeit weitere Podcasts selbst zu erfassen oder aus anderen Verzeichnissen per OPML Technologie zu abonnieren. Innerhalb der Suche bietet Podspider jetzt noch mehr Detailinformationen zu den Sendungen. Mit dem Download Manager ist das Abspielen der Audio- und Video-Podcasts bereits während des Herunterladens möglich. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lösungen erhält der Podcast-Fan schneller sein Unterhaltungserlebnis. Podspider verfügt nun über einen eigenen Player zum Abspielen aller Video- und Audioformate der Podcasts. Umständliches Hantieren mit Windows Media Player oder Quicktime Player entfällt damit. Die automatische Synchronisation mit beliebigen MP3-Abspielgeräten oder Mobilfunktelefonen gehört für Podspider zu den Standardfunktionen. AutoAgent will run Agent, connect to the Internet, download new headers, post pending messages, download any marked messages, collect POP3 email and then disconnect and finally close Agent.
A simple schedule can be set so that all this happens on an unattended basis.
Now you can set Agent to download your Usenet articles and Email at a time when the news server isn't so busy, like 2am for example.
Leave it to run and read your new articles and email in the morning.
