SWBCapture is a screen capture utility that allows you to quickly and easily capture an image of any window on your desktop, or the entire desktop by simply pointing to the each window you want captured.

The application does not support capturing of random areas of the desktop, only individual windows (or the entire desktop).

SWBCapture can be configured to save all captures to the clipboard, to a named file (prompted at time of each capture), or "auto saved" to individual temporary files in a directory of your choice.

This last method allows many screens to be saved without prompting for a filename at each capture.

SWBCapture can save captured images to BMP, JPG, or GIF format, and supports variable amounts of compression/quality for JPG-formatted images.

This is a great FREE tool for developers and others who want to capture screen shots of their applications for their web site on a window-by-window basis without having to crop each image after capturing it.

TB-Screenshot Net

Viele Funktionen mit einem Mausklick direkt wählbar. Das Gewählte Bild steht sofort in der Zwischenablage bereit.

TB-Screenshot Net befindet sich über ein Icon im Systray der Windows Taskleiste und bietet somit ständigen Zugriff bei Bedarf einen Screenshot zu erstellen. Mittels Menü kann man den Screenshot sofort, verzögert oder vom aktiven Fenster erstellen. Einige Zusatzfunktionen stehen zur Verfügung wie Bildwiederholrate messen in einem Bildschirmbereich, Mauszeiger mit auf den Screenshot malen, RGB Farbwerte auslesen und Vergrösserten Bereich anzeigen. Eine nützliche Funktion ist die direkte Bearbeitung des Bildes mit Pfeilen, Linien und Texten.

VG Deamon

Ob als Einarbeitungsmethode im Büro oder zur kurzen Erklärung einer Programmfunktion per eMail: Die beste und einfachste Methode eine so genannte Bedienungs-Demo zu schreiben ist immer noch die, die gesamte Programmbedienung 1 zu 1 vom Desktop abzufilmen und der Zielperson als plattformunabhängiges AVI-Video zukommen zu lassen.

Genau dazu ist VG Deamon im Stande. Dabei ist eindeutig keine Einarbeitungszeit notwendig. Sie drücken einfach auf "Aufnahme" und es wird ein Echtzeit-Video des aktuellen Desktop-Geschehens erstellt. Selbstverständlich mit protokollierten Tastatur- und Mauseingaben, die zur Verdeutlichung sogar grafisch in die resultierende Videodatei eingefügt werden.

Ein mühsames, einzelnes Erstellen der Demo-Szenen entfällt also völlig, genauso wie das sehr langwierige, nachträgliche Angeben der erforderlichen Tastatur- und Mauseingaben. Alles wird durch nur einen einzigen Mausklick erledigt. Die Features im Überblick:

Aufnehmen durch AVI-Datei: Wählen Sie völlig frei den verwendeten Videocodec, genauso wie die FPS-Zahl.

Aufnehmen durch Screenshots: Sie können wahlweise das Desktop-Geschehen auch in Screenshots dokumentieren. Selbstverständlich mit allen Features, welche Ihnen auch bei der AVI-Aufnahme zur Verfügung stehen. Möglich sind BMP-, JPG-, und PNG-Dateien.

Einblenden eines Timecodes: Zur einfachen Navigation im Video können Sie einen Zeitcode einblenden.

Einblenden der Mausklicks: Als sehr nützliches Feature hat sich das Einblenden der Mausklicks während der Aufnahme herausgestellt. Dabei sind im resultierenden Video die getätigten Mausklicks durch farbige Kreise markiert.

Aufnahmepause: Haben sie wenig Speicherplatz zur Verfügung empfiehlt sich diese Option. Dabei wird die Video-Aufnahme bei fehlender Tastatur- bzw. Mauseingabe pausiert.

Autostart: Starten Sie VG Deamon beim Windows-Start, wahlweise direkt im Aufnahme-Modus.
